Overview

Legal protection when safety is at stake

A restraining order is a court order that legally prohibits a person from contacting, harassing, or coming near you or your family members. It is one of the most powerful legal tools available to protect individuals from abuse, threats, and unwanted contact.

California offers several types of protective orders depending on your relationship with the person and the nature of the threat. Scott helps clients obtain the right type of order quickly and represents them at all required court hearings to ensure the protection stays in place.
